PROXXON Hot Wire Cutter (THERMOCUT-230/E)
Ideal for architectural models, designers, decorators and artists along with classical railroad, plane and boat model building.
Cutter is fitted with a large worktop w/ printed grid and finished in a unique cobond aluminium that ensures accurate and smooth material cutting.
The solid aluminium overarm has a 350mm throat and offers 140mm capacity in height.
The holder and wire coil can be shifted along the overarm to enable mitre cutting.
The wire heats near instantly removing any downtime waiting for machine warm-up. A LED indicates operation and helps to prevent personal injury and burns.
Cutting wire temperature is variable between approx. 100 and 200°C.
- Note: The unit's double wound transformer and insulation to class 2 ensure the cutter is absolutely safe. The cutting wire operates at 10V, 1A.
